Job Description
To provide accurate, ethical, and professional counselling services to students aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia, guiding them through the entire admission and visa process while ensuring high conversion and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1.Student Counselling & Guidance
- Counsel students regarding study opportunities in Australia (universities, courses, admission requirements, fees, scholarships, etc.).
- Assist students in shortlisting suitable institutions and programs based on their academic profile, financial capacity, and career goals.
- Provide up-to-date and accurate information on Australian education system, visa policies, and immigration updates.
2.Application & Admission Support
- Guide students in preparing and reviewing application documents (SOPs, CVs, recommendation letters, etc.).
- Assist with online applications, offer letter follow-ups, and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Liaise with university representatives for admission-related queries and clarifications.
3.Visa Counselling & Documentation
- Advise students on visa requirements, financial documentation, GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) statement, and health insurance (OSHC).
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of visa files before submission.
4.Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and partner universities in Australia.
- Participate in university seminars, education fairs, and workshops to promote programs.
5.Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of student counselling and applications in the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with Australian education and visa regulations.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on student inquiries, conversions, and visa outcomes.
Job Specification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Australian education system and visa processes.
- Ability to build rapport and provide personalized counselling.
- Sales orientation with ability to achieve student recruitment targets.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Management, or related field.
- Prior experience (1–3 years) in education counselling, preferably Australia-focused.
- Knowledge of PRISMS, CRICOS, and Australian visa subclasses (subclass 500, etc.) preferred.
- Training/Certification in Education Counselling (if available) is an advantage.
