The Overseas Education Counsellor will guide students and parents through suitable study-abroad opportunities based on their academic background, career goals, and financial considerations. The role involves counselling, university and course selection, application and visa document support, application follow-up, student record management, and converting prospective students into successful enrolments. The position will also support and mentor junior counsellors and contribute to achieving team targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities, courses, universities, and destinations.
- Assess students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, and financial considerations to recommend suitable study options.
- Guide students through the complete admission and application process.
- Provide accurate information on university requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, and intake deadlines.
- Review and assist with preparation of academic and visa-related documents.
- Maintain regular follow-up with students, universities, and relevant stakeholders.
- Handle student enquiries and convert prospective students into successful enrolments.
- Monitor application progress and ensure timely submission of documents.
- Mentor junior counsellors and support the counselling team in achieving.
- Maintain student records and update CRM/database systems.
