Job Description

We are looking for experienced and target-oriented New Zealand Education Counsellors to provide end-to-end guidance to students seeking to study in New Zealand, including course selection, university applications, and student visa processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel students and parents regarding New Zealand universities, Te Pūkenga/ITPs, Private Training Establishments, courses, fees, and intakes.
  • Guide students through admission applications and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Handle and advise on Immigration New Zealand (INZ) student visa requirements and financial evidence, including the Funds Transfer Scheme (FTS) where applicable.
  • Provide guidance on Post-Study Work Visa (PSWV) pathways and course eligibility.
  • Follow up with students and institutions throughout the application and visa process.
  • Maintain accurate student records and achieve assigned recruitment targets.
  • Participate in education fairs, university representative meetings, and promotional activities when required.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in New Zealand student counselling and visa processing.
  • Strong knowledge of the New Zealand education system and current student visa requirements.
  • Good understanding of PSWV pathways and course eligibility.
  • Excellent communication and counselling skills in English and Nepali.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate visa documentation.
  • Ability to independently handle student inquiries and work toward recruitment targets.
  • Positive attitude, professional ethics, and a target-oriented approach.
  • Experience participating in education fairs or university meetings will be an advantage.
