Role Description The Power Platform Developer Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of business applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in gathering and documenting requirements, building and testing low-code solutions, integrating data from various sources, and helping optimize existing workflows and dashboards to improve operational efficiency. The intern will collaborate closely with senior developers, functional teams, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, refine solutions, and ensure data security and compliance with internal standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, offering hands-on learning and mentorship within a professional services environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and interest in low-code/no-code solution development.
- Basic understanding of databases, data modeling, and data visualization concepts (e.g., SQL, Excel, dashboards, reporting).
- Ability to analyze business processes, document requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for automation and applications.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention-to-detail skills in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Interest in professional services, finance, or accounting domains; prior exposure to these areas is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and methodologies, and maintain a professional, ethical work approach.
