Job Description
Job PurposeResponsible for end-to-end video production — planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content that supports WorldLink’s marketing campaigns, product promotions, corporate communications, and social media presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content across social media, TVCs, launches, testimonials, events, and internal comms — from pre-production (storyboarding, shot lists, scripting) through post (editing, colour grading, sound design)
- Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones, and lighting/audio gear for professional shoots
- Edit using industry-standard software, optimised for platform-specific formats (Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Collaborate with marketing/content team to conceptualise videos aligned with campaign goals
- Cover events, branch openings, launches, and exhibitions — including weekends/holidays when required (standard for the marketing function; substitute leave provided)
- Manage equipment, footage backups, and an organised archive
- Travel within/outside Kathmandu Valley for shoots as needed
- Bachelor’s in Film, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (strong portfolio can offset differing background)
- 3–5 years’ hands-on videography/editing experience, ideally at an agency, media house, or corporate in-house team
- Strong, demonstrable portfolio/showreel
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve; Photoshop/Illustrator a plus
- Hands-on with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones, lighting/audio setups
- Strong grasp of composition, colour grading, pacing, platform storytelling
- Basic motion graphics/animation a plus
- Fluent in Nepali and English (spoken/written)
- Strong time-management and cross-team communication skills
