Codetonic is a US-based marketing agency helping small businesses improve their online presence, build better websites, and attract more customers. We're a small, collaborative team that values clear communication, continuous learning, and practical results for our clients.

We're looking for an experienced SEO & WordPress Specialist to help us grow local businesses, including independent businesses and mom-and-pop shops.

About the Role

Most of your SEO work will focus on local SEO: helping businesses show up in local search results and Google Maps, reach nearby customers, and generate more calls and inquiries.

You'll manage SEO across multiple client accounts, maintain their WordPress websites, and occasionally build complete websites using Elementor. We're looking for someone comfortable owning projects from planning through implementation and reporting.

What You'll Do

• Manage local SEO for multiple small-business clients, including keyword research, competitor research, and location-specific website optimization.
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (formerly Google My Business), including business details, categories, services, photos, and posts.
• Maintain accurate business information across local listings and directories.
• Conduct SEO audits and implement on-page and technical improvements.
• Build and improve service, location, and landing pages.
• Build complete, responsive WordPress websites using Elementor when needed.
• Handle ongoing website edits, content updates, plugin and theme updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Identify relevant local link-building opportunities.
• Monitor rankings, website traffic, and lead activity using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
• Prepare clear reports and keep the team informed about progress, priorities, and next steps.

What You'll Bring

• At least 3 years of professional SEO experience, ideally 3–5+ years, working with real clients or company websites through an agency, organization, or paid freelance work. Personal projects or coursework alone won't meet this requirement.
• Hands-on experience managing local SEO and Google Business Profiles for real businesses.
• Experience independently managing multiple client SEO projects.
• Strong WordPress and Elementor skills, including building full websites from setup to launch.
• The ability to conduct SEO audits and implement your recommendations.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong written English, clear communication, and reliable project management.
• Based in Nepal and available for a full-time remote role.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with US-based small businesses.
• Familiarity with local business schema, page speed optimization, and basic HTML/CSS.
• Basic graphic design skills.
