The specialist will create and refine visual assets for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, presentations, reports, and outreach materials. Day-to-day tasks include developing layouts, designing logos and branding elements, editing images, and ensuring consistent visual identity across all communication channels. The role involves collaborating with project teams to translate ideas into clear visual concepts, preparing files for production, and managing multiple design requests and deadlines. The specialist will also maintain design libraries and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and templates.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to develop clear, engaging visual concepts.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding to create and maintain cohesive visual identities.
- Proficiency in Image Editing using industry-standard design tools and software.
- Practical knowledge of layout design for digital and print, including social media, presentations, and reports.
- Relevant experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role; portfolio demonstrating recent work is required.
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative design processes.
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
