Role Summary
- We're hiring Full-Time In-House Video Editors / Motion Graphics Designers to work from our Kathmandu office.
- This role blends solid video-editing fundamentals with motion graphics — turning raw footage and storyboards into polished, client-ready videos with clean transitions, titles, and basic–intermediate motion graphics work.
- It merges what used to be two separate hiring tracks (Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer) into one role.
Key Responsibilities (Roles & Responsibilities)
Editing & Delivery
- Edit raw footage into polished final videos (clean storytelling + pacing)
- Sync voiceover, add music, SFX, b-roll, overlays, and titles
- Color correction + basic grading where needed
- Clean audio mixing (leveling, noise reduction when required)
- Export in correct formats (1080p/4K, Reels/Stories/YouTube ratios)
Motion Graphics (Basic–Intermediate)
- Convert storyboards into engaging final video with motion graphics, transitions, lower thirds, highlights
- Basic–intermediate After Effects work (templates, text animation, icons, simple 2D animation)
- Build reusable motion templates/assets for recurring formats
Revisions & Team Workflow
- Apply feedback properly (no ego, no repeating the same mistakes)
- Maintain file structure + naming discipline
- Share progress updates in ClickUp so the PM/team knows what's happening
- Deliver drafts on time and keep communication clear
- Collaborate with PM, Creative Director, and Client Growth on scope, references, and revisions
AI-assisted workflow (nice-to-have)
- Biiyond is building an AI-first production pipeline (see AI Editor Intern track) — comfort experimenting with AI tools in editing/motion work (AI upscaling, generative elements) is a plus, not mandatory for this role
