Job Description
The Branch In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing the overall daily operations of the dental branch, ensuring smooth patient services, coordinating staff and clinical activities, monitoring performance, and maintaining operational standards. The position requires strong leadership, communication, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the dental branch.
- Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and maintain high standards of patient service.
- Supervise and coordinate doctors, dental hygienists, counsellors, reception, and support staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and coordinate duty rosters as required.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and overall performance.
- Coordinate with dentists and clinical teams to ensure smooth delivery of patient services.
- Handle patient enquiries, feedback, complaints, and operational concerns professionally.
- Monitor appointments, treatment follow-ups, patient records, and daily branch activities.
- Support the branch in achieving patient service, treatment, and revenue targets.
- Monitor inventory, dental supplies, equipment, and other branch requirements.
- Coordinate procurement and maintenance requirements with the concerned department.
- Maintain proper administrative records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and proper maintenance of the branch.
- Implement hospital policies, procedures, and service standards at the branch level.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.
- Coordinate with head office/management and provide regular updates on branch performance.
- Support marketing, patient awareness, and promotional activities when required.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Management, Healthcare Management, Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in branch management, hospital/clinic administration, healthcare operations, or a related supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong customer/patient service orientation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational targets.
