Job Description
The Logistics & Supply Chain Executive is responsible for coordinating procurement, import documentation, logistics operations, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and timely business operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of supply chain processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain related documentation.
- Handle Proforma Invoices (PI) and ensure accuracy of import-related documents.
- Manage and monitor Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and follow-up.
- Coordinate food department-related activities, including requests, pending approvals, and sample drop processes.
- Plan and coordinate truck placement and truck clearance to ensure timely delivery and dispatch.
- Support end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations.
- Perform accounting-related tasks as assigned by the department.
- Prepare official letters, government correspondence, and other business documents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to logistics and supply chain activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, transporters, and government authorities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the department or management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Purchase Orders (PO), Proforma Invoices (PI), and Letters of Credit (LC).
- Good understanding of supply chain management and logistics operations.
- Experience in food department documentation and coordination is an advantage.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in Nepali typing (Unicode/Preeti) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to draft official and government letters professionally.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
