Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing of products from local farmers and suppliers aligning with crop calendar and business needs.
- Ensure smooth supply of regular products from local farmers and suppliers within and outside KTM.
- Negotiate best pricing and quality products from the farmers and suppliers as per specified brand standards.
- Create and maintain database of farmers from surrounding regions.
- Research, explore and source demanded products from the farmers and suppliers.
- Coordination with supply chain department for logistics and transportation of goods to be supplied from farm and suppliers to the warehouse.
- Prepare and review sourcing details of staple orders and deliveries on daily basis.
- Ensure regular supplier audits are implemented.
- Maintain relationships with existing and future suppliers.
- Oversee communication with suppliers on quantity related issues and propose areas for improvement to ensure best quality products.
Job Specifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree must be completed.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of FMCG sales and supply chain dynamics
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical skill.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with distribution networks and operations.
- Must have two-wheeler and driving license.
