The institute aims to build a community of resilient and accomplished students who positively contribute to both local and global economies. Recognising that strong English language skills are essential for work, permanent residency, and everyday life in Australia, Boston Institute offers targeted training in speaking and writing. By 2030, the institute seeks to have a positive impact on more than 50,000 international students by helping them develop fluent, effective English communication.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated PTE Teacher based in Nepal to deliver high-quality PTE Academic training to students preparing for study, migration, or work pathways to Australia. This is a hands-on teaching role for someone who has lived the PTE test experience themselves and can turn that first-hand insight into consistent, measurable score improvements for students.

Key Responsibilities

1. PTE Academic Teaching

• Deliver high-impact PTE Academic classes covering Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening, with a strong focus on scoring strategy and measurable score improvement.

• Run mock tests, score-prediction sessions, and targeted skill-gap workshops.

• Track individual student progress and tailor lesson plans to help each student reach their target PTE score band.

• Share personal test-taking strategies and item-type techniques drawn from direct PTE exam experience.

2. Reporting & Coordination

• Report regularly to the Academic Manager and Director of Studies in Sydney on curriculum, assessment standards, and student progress.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, mock-test results, and score trends.

• Adapt PTE teaching materials and practice resources in line with Boston Institute's academic standards.

3. Student Support & Engagement

• Advise prospective students on realistic PTE score expectations and study timelines.

• Support student motivation and retention through structured feedback and progress check-ins.

• Assist with orientation on Boston Institute's programs for students planning to study in Australia.

4. Brand & Content Support

• Contribute to student success stories, score-result testimonials, and promotional content for social media, in partnership with the Sales & Marketing team.

• Represent Boston Institute professionally at local student information sessions and webinars.

About You

PTE Score Requirement (Essential)

Has personally sat the PTE Academic exam and achieved a score of 8 in each communicative skill (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening); OR

• Is ready and committed to sitting the PTE Academic exam at the earliest opportunity, with a firm expectation of achieving 8 in each communicative skill.

• Candidates unable to demonstrate or commit to this benchmark will not be considered.

Experience & Expertise

• Tertiary qualification in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.

• Proven experience teaching PTE Academic, ideally within a training institute, study-abroad consultancy, or language centre in Nepal.

• Demonstrated track record of student PTE score improvement, with reference results or testimonials.

• Familiarity with the expectations of Australian CRICOS/ELICOS-linked pathway programs is an advantage.

• Experience working with students planning to study, live, or work in Australia.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent classroom management, communication, and mentoring skills.

• Comfortable using data (mock scores, attendance) to drive teaching decisions.

• Confident appearing on camera for video content and promotional media.

•  Able to work collaboratively with an academic team based overseas, across time zones.

Why Join Boston Institute?

• Global Connection — work as part of an Australian CRICOS-registered college's international team.
