Role Description The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing Neekjob’s social media presence across multiple platforms on a full-time basis. This on-site role, based in Kathmandu, involves planning and executing social media campaigns, creating and scheduling content, and optimizing posts for engagement and reach. The Social Media Manager will monitor analytics, respond to comments and messages, and collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure consistent brand messaging. Daily tasks include identifying trends, engaging with the online community, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and providing regular performance reports to support overall marketing goals.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
  • Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to plan, organize, and align social media content with brand and business objectives.
  • Relevant experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X) for a brand or organization.
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics, use insights to improve performance, and report outcomes to the team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Comfort working on-site in Kathmandu and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
