Role Description The Video Editor role at Hundred Production is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production tasks, including assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, and creating cohesive, engaging video stories aligned with client objectives. Daily responsibilities include editing videos for various platforms, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and optimizing sound and pacing for maximum impact. The role also involves collaborating with directors, producers, and designers, reviewing feedback, and revising content to meet brand and project requirements. The Video Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual quality and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Demonstrated skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and compelling visual tone and style.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools).
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a portfolio showcasing relevant video projects.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, on-site team environment in Kathmandu.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving client requirements.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
