Role Description Founding Business Development Manager will play a key role in building and scaling Growstro's sales function across Kathmandu Valley and, eventually, Nepal. This is a full-time, field-based role focused on acquiring new restaurant customers, building long-term client relationships, and working directly with the Founder to create a scalable sales engine.
You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospects, visiting restaurants, conducting product demonstrations, handling objections, negotiating with decision-makers, and closing new business. Beyond selling, you'll analyze customer feedback, improve the sales process, refine messaging, and help develop the sales playbook for future team members.

- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the restaurant industry.
- Visit restaurants daily and engage with owners and decision-makers.
- Build strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers.
- Understand customer challenges and recommend the right Growstro solution.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and convert trials into paying customers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and daily sales reports.
- Analyze customer objections and recommend improvements to the sales process.
- Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and customer retention.
- Collaborate directly with the Founder to improve sales strategy and execution.
- Help build training materials and sales processes for future sales team members.
Qualifications
Must Have
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in B2B field sales, business development, or software sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable traveling throughout Kathmandu Valley.
