About the Role

Makura Creations is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Content Writer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for writing, storytelling, SEO, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for creating engaging, informative, and search-engine-optimized content across multiple industries, including travel, technology, gaming, event management, and more.

Key Responsibilities

* Write SEO-friendly blog articles, website content, landing pages, and other digital content.

* Create engaging travel articles, destination guides, and industry-specific content.

* Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy, originality, and value.

* Optimize content for target keywords, readability, user intent, and search performance.

* Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page optimization strategies.

* Develop content that aligns with brand voice and audience expectations.

* Edit, proofread, and improve content for grammar, clarity, structure, and consistency.

* Stay updated with the latest SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing trends.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Management, IT, English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

* Freshers currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply.

* 0–2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or SEO writing.

* Excellent English writing, grammar, and communication skills.

* Strong research and analytical abilities.

* Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimization, and content structuring.

* Familiarity with content optimization tools such as Surfer SEO, Yoast SEO, SEMrush, or similar platforms.

* Ability to consistently produce 2,000–2,500 words of high-quality content per day.

* Ability to adapt writing style across different industries and audiences.

* Interest or experience in travel writing is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

* Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.

* Understanding of content strategy and digital marketing.

* Familiarity with Google Search Console and keyword research tools.

* Basic image sourcing, formatting, and content publishing skills.
