Peak Vision is looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level Video Editor to join our post-production team and help manage an increasing workflow of high-quality video projects for international clients.
This is the perfect role for someone who has a solid foundation in video editing, is highly comfortable in professional editing software, and is eager to level up their skills in pacing, sound design, and color. You won't be expected to know everything on day one, but you must be ready to learn, adapt quickly, and work independently during evening/night hours alongside our remote team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Short-Form & Walkthroughs: Editing 1-minute property walkthroughs, "sneak peek" videos, and similar content with smooth pacing and flow.
- Team Support: Assisting our senior editors by syncing audio, creating assembly cuts, and organizing timelines when your primary queue is clear.
- Audio & Polish: Adding basic rhythmic pacing, music, and targeted sound effects.
- Implementing feedback quickly and maintaining high standards for client delivery.
What You Need (The Non-Negotiables):
- Availability (7:00 PM - 3:00 AM): You must be available and online to work a dedicated night shift from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Due to the specific hours, this role is not suitable for full-time day students.
- Hardware: You must have your own reliable editing workstation/laptop.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of professional or freelance video editing experience.
- Communication: Clear, responsive communication with the team, especially regarding project hand-offs during the required shift.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- DaVinci Resolve Experience: We primarily use DaVinci Resolve. While you can use your preferred software (like Premiere Pro) to start, experience with DaVinci or a strong willingness to learn and transition to it is highly preferred for seamless project sharing.
- Prior experience editing real estate videos or fast-paced social media shorts.
Salary
Rs.20,000- Rs.30,000
