Email Operations Specialist (Tech/CRM)

Job Description

We're looking for a full-time technical specialist to join our email marketing agency.

You'll be hands-on with CRM setups, building automations, fixing deliverability issues, and managing the technical side of email marketing for our clients.

If you love technical work, building automations, and figuring out how email marketing systems run under the hood, this is your seat.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and manage CRMs across client accounts (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Kit, and others)
• Build automations, workflows, and email sequences
• Connect tools using Zapier, Make, n8n, and similar
• Fix email deliverability issues across DNS, sending reputation, and inbox placement
• Pre-send technical checks across links, tracking, and segmentation
• Help us build and improve internal playbooks and processes as you learn what works
• Weekly technical reports

Expected Workload:

Full-time role supporting 5-7 client accounts on the technical side. Workload may vary depending on campaign schedules and client needs.

Someone who genuinely enjoys the technical side of email marketing. You like building automations, debugging integrations, and getting into the details of how email actually works behind the scenes.

What you do need is solid technical instincts and the ability to figure things out independently.

Must-Haves:

• 2-3+ years working with any CRM, marketing automation, or email tool (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Kit, Salesforce, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar)
• Comfortable with technical work like reading documentation, debugging issues, and figuring things out
• Strong written English for internal team communication

Bonus Points (Not Required):

• Prior email marketing or deliverability experience
• Worked with HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or Kit specifically
• Built integrations using Zapier or Make
• Coaching or online education client experience

Compensation:

Starting compensation: NPR 40,000-80,000/month base for Nepal-based candidates, with a clear growth path for raises tied to performance reviews.

If you grow into a leadership role, compensation moves up accordingly.

For international remote candidates, compensation is discussed based on experience and location.

Working Terms:

• Kathmandu-based in-house preferred — work from our office
• Open to candidates from outside Kathmandu, outside Nepal, or international remote if we find the right fit (with US time zone overlap for remote)
• Deadlines will always be provided in advance
• Critical issues (broken automations, missed sends) require same-day response
• The goal is collaboration and ownership, not micromanagement
