Overview

We are seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer to contribute to production-grade applications used by

real customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across modern frontend systems,

backend integrations, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

This role emphasizes debugging skills, ownership mindset, and adaptability in fast-paced product

environments.

Core Responsibilities

Frontend Development

- Build and maintain applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

- Develop reusable UI systems using ShadCN UI and Tailwind CSS.

- Implement scalable frontend architecture within monorepo environments.

- Build frontend workflows using Next.js Server Actions.

- Manage server state and API caching with React Query.

Engineering Workflow

- Work within GitHub-based development workflows.

- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.

Backend & Infrastructure

- Integrate frontend systems with backend APIs.

- Support backend development tasks using Python.

- Work with AWS infrastructure and deployment workflows.

- Assist in debugging production and deployment issues.

Production Engineering

- Investigate and resolve real-world production issues.

- Analyze application performance and reliability bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams.

- Contribute to applications actively used by customers.

Required Skills

Frontend Stack:

- React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI, React Query, Next.js Server Actions

Architecture & Tooling:

- Monorepo architecture (Turborepo/Nx), Git and GitHub workflows, GitHub Actions CI/CD

Backend & Cloud:

- Python backend experience, AWS infrastructure familiarity, API integration experience

AI Engineering Workflow:

- Experience with AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.

Expectations

- Strong debugging and analytical thinking

- Ability to identify root causes independently

- Understanding of frontend performance optimization

- Experience working on real applications serving users/customers

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ownership mindset and attention to code quality

Experience

- 1-2 years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience

- Experience contributing to production applications preferred
