Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IELTS/PTE - English Second Language Teacher located in Kathmandu. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering effective lesson plans, preparing students for IELTS and PTE exams, and teaching English as a foreign language. Day-to-day tasks include conducting classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining records of student performance.
Qualifications
- Must have a Master degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of CEFR C1 level, with a past IELTS or PTE score, and training from British Council, IDP, or Pearson will be highly preferred.
- English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills
- Experience in Lesson Planning and implementing educational strategies
- Proficiency in IELTS and Pearson PTE exam preparation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Relevant teaching certification or degree is preferred
- Experience working with diverse student groups is a plus
