Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an IELTS/PTE - English Second Language Teacher located in Kathmandu. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering effective lesson plans, preparing students for IELTS and PTE exams, and teaching English as a foreign language. Day-to-day tasks include conducting classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining records of student performance.


Qualifications

  • Must have a Master degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of CEFR C1 level, with a past IELTS or PTE score, and training from British Council, IDP, or Pearson will be highly preferred.
  • English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills
  • Experience in Lesson Planning and implementing educational strategies
  • Proficiency in IELTS and Pearson PTE exam preparation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant teaching certification or degree is preferred
  • Experience working with diverse student groups is a plus
