Position: Business Development (Jr. Executive)
As a Jr. Business Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new merchant partners to expand our business network. You will play a crucial role in driving growth and enhancing the company's market presence by building strong relationships with potential merchants and ensuring their successful onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential merchants and business opportunities.
- Develop a pipeline of prospective merchants through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Reach out to potential merchants and present the benefits of partnering with our company.
- Conduct presentations and meetings to demonstrate the value proposition of our services.
- Negotiate contract terms and agreements with merchants.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Provide training and support to new merchants to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with acquired merchants to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of acquired merchants to ensure they meet business objectives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on merchant acquisition activities and outcomes.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve merchant acquisition processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales preferably in the logistics, e-commerce.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition, sales, or business development.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
