Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Territory Manager to handle sales and distribution activities in Birgunj and Janakpur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FMCG sector, with hands-on experience in managing distributors, driving primary and secondary sales, and expanding market reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales targets (primary and secondary) for the assigned territory.
  • Appoint, manage, and grow relationships with distributors and sub-stockists.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper execution of merchandising standards.
  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution across retail outlets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights.
  • Lead and guide distributor sales representatives (DSRs) and sales officers.
  • Execute trade promotions, schemes, and activations as per company strategy.
  • Ensure beat plan execution, route optimization, and market coverage.
  • Submit timely reports using sales tracking systems (DMS/SFA).
  • Manage stock levels and ensure timely collection and claim settlements.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience in field sales/distributor management.
  • Deep understanding of Birgunj, Janakpur, and surrounding markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and building distributor networks.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools (DMS/SFA) preferred.
  • Must be open to frequent travel within assigned territory.
