IT Operations Administrator

Main Responsibilities:

The responsibility of the role is to support information technology operations, and business applications.

  • Application Support: Provide first-level support for software applications, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • User Assistance: Assist users with application-related queries and provide end user support.
  • Application Incident tracking: Document and track reported issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
  • Change and User access management: Manage change requests for IT enhancements and user access management process and recertification.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on application performance and user feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, other department stakeholders and local vendors for application requests, changes, deployment and technical test results


Other Responsibilities:

  • Monitor system performance and job logs.
  • Document the change requests, user access and technical agreements.


Job Specification:

  • Experience in diagnosing and resolving application issues and providing technical assistance.
  • Strong understanding of application structure, architecture, and Microsoft SQL database experience.
  • Excellent Analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective Verbal and Written Communication skills in Nepali and English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.


Reports to: Head of Information Technology.

Education Required: At least a bachelor’s in computer engineering or equivalent.

Experience Required: More than or equal to 1 years’ of experience in the application support

Compensation: As per company policy.
