Job Description

As a Sales representative specializing in the Frozen Industry, the primary goal is to increase sales and broaden market reach for the frozen product line. The role is crucial in building and maintaining client relationships, spotting new business opportunities, and hitting sales targets within the frozen food sector.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies and action plans.
  • Identify new opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Knowledge and experience in consumer goods sales, preferably in the FMCG and/or frozen food industry.
  • Visit clients, conduct product presentations, and explain features and benefits
  • Provide after-sales support and handle customer queries.
  • Must be willing to travel within the assigned area as needed.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to identify and onboard new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Develop channel focusing on the hotels/cafe/restaurants sector for sales of frozen snacks.
  • Responsible for identifying and securing new clients in addition to yielding existing clients to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to facilitate support to potential and existing clients.
  • Meet the sales targets and KPIs as set and agreed upon by the senior management.
  • Regular weekly reporting on all sales activities to monitor the success and effectiveness of activities.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or any is preferred.
  • Proven track record with at least 2 years sales within FMCG industry particularly in departmental stores, retail stores and hotels/ restaurants and cafes preferably in frozen Foods.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Result-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and business growth.
  • Able to work independently, professionally and be a good team player.
  • An outspoken, cheerful, and dynamic character with a positive working attitude.
  • Able to interact with people of different levels.
  • Able to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • A record of achieving sales targets and increasing revenue.
