Job Description

The role involves supporting sales and account management activities by handling customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with logistics and finance teams, and maintaining accurate CRM records. The position is also responsible for managing MIS functions, including data collection, report generation, trend analysis, and supporting management with forecasting and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will ensure timely order fulfillment, accurate invoicing, strong client relationships, and high-quality data-driven reporting to support business decision-making.

Sales and Account Management Support:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer account matters, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assist the sales team with managing and processing sales orders, quotations, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with logistics and finance departments to ensure timely order fulfillment, invoicing, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure product availability.
  • Manage accounts receivable, contact clients about overdue payments, and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Update and maintain customer databases and CRM systems with accurate account details, sales activities, and communication records.

Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reporting:

  • Collect, store, manage, and protect sales and accounts data from various sources.
  • Generate and manage daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards related to sales performance, targets vs. achievement, inventory, revenue, and customer activity.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for business improvement.
  • Automate reporting processes where possible to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Support management with forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.

 

Job Specification
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including macros, pivot tables, and data visualization), accounting/ERP software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks), and CRM tools is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills to translate complex data into understandable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, sales teams, and senior management.
  • Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
