Job Description
The Marketing cum Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving market growth, building strong relationships with healthcare institutions, and implementing creative marketing strategies. This role bridges the gap between scientific technicality and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, polyclinics, and pathological laboratories across Nepal.
Strategic Marketing: Design and execute 360-degree marketing campaigns, including product launches, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and digital outreach.
KOL Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Pathologists, and Hospital Administrators.
Product Expertise: Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for IVD reagents, automated analyzers, and surgical equipment.
Sales Funnel Management: Oversee the lead generation process and work closely with the tendering team to ensure high conversion rates.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to provide actionable insights for company growth.
Job Specification
Experience: Minimum 2 years of solid experience in Business Development or Sales/Marketing specifically within the IVD, Pharma, or Medical Devices industry.
Academic Background: Science: B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, MLT, or B.Pharma.
Marketing: MBA or BBA with a specialization in Marketing (or equivalent professional experience).
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of diagnostic laboratory workflows and medical equipment technology
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, public speaking, and analytical abilities.
Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler license and a personal vehicle for field visits.
