Job Description:

Manage and supervise day-to-day sales accounting operations.
Monitor and verify sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes and sales-related accounting entries.
Manage customer/dealer accounts and ensure timely reconciliation of outstanding balances.
Prepare and monitor sales receivables, ageing reports and collection status.
Handle calculation and accounting of sales schemes, discounts, incentives and dealer commissions.
Conduct regular reconciliation of dealer/customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with the Sales, Finance, Dispatch, Logistics and Commercial departments for smooth sales operations.
Prepare periodic MIS reports, sales analysis, collection reports and management reports.
Review sales transactions and identify accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
Support internal and external audit requirements related to sales and receivables.
Conduct reconciliation visits to major dealers/customers whenever required.
Provide analytical support to management for sales performance, outstanding receivables and credit management.
Supervise and guide sales accounts staff and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

Job Specification:

Master’s Degree in Management, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the cement, manufacturing, construction sector in supervision/managerial role.
Strong experience in sales accounting, receivable management, reconciliation and MIS reporting.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, accounting software/ERP and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Should be willing to travel for dealer/customer reconciliation and business requirements.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is required.
