The role involves designing and executing test cases, building automation scripts, performing API, UI, and performance testing, and validating data integrity to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, RestAssured, JMeter, Git, and SQL, with a strong understanding of test design techniques and CI/CD integration.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years of Software QA experience.

Job Description

Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications
Strong understanding of manual testing concepts: functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
Knowledge of test case design techniques (Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, etc.).
Proficiency in API Testing and able to prepare API automation scripts
Knowledge about performance testing , load testing and performance metrics
Basic scripting skills in languages like Java, JavaScript or Python
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper coverage
Experience with UI automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Familiarity with tools like JMeter, K6, or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub and GitLab
Familiar with bug reporting structure and tools
Knowledge of SQL queries to validate data integrity in databases.
Experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments to estimate and plan requirements
Familiarity with tools like MySQL, PostgreSQL, DBeaver, or any other RDBMS
Experience with RestAssured for API Testing is a Plus
Experience with mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and tools like Appium, Espresso
Basic understanding of integrating tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
