Job Description

Gurkhas Finance Limited, a reputed and progressive financial institution, invites applications from qualified, experienced and result-oriented Nepalese citizens for the following positions:

Position: Assistant General Manager (AGM)
Level: Senior Management
No. of Vacancy: 1

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Formulate and execute annual/medium-term business plans; drive deposit mobilization, credit expansion, and product diversification aligned with organizational strategy.

  • Ensure achievement of revenue, cost and profitability targets, monitor branch/department P&L, budget love utilization anil variance analysis,

  •  Oversee credit appraisal, approval and monitoring, ensure portfolio quality (NPL control), provisioning adequacy, and adherence to risk appetite.

  •  Perform other duties as directed by CEO.

  •  Determined personality, result oriented and strong personal relationship skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 12 years experience with 8 Years (for Managerial Level) of relevant and progressive work experience in financial institutions with focus in credit department (shall be preferred working in Commercial and Development Banks)

  •  Candidate must have knowledge of monitoring the finance’s credit portfolio to assess credit quality, credit risk is managed prudently, in line with regulatory requirements and the institution’s risk appetite, to support. sustainable growth and profitability

  • Candidates must have minimum Master Degree in Management/Banking/Finance/Business Administration from recognized university.

  • Age: not exceed 50 Years.


Position: Senior Manager
Level: Manager
No. of Vacancy: 1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage different branches and department operations efficiently and ensure moth workflow, ensuring the achievement of branches business targets including deposit mobilization, lon growth and other business mobilizations.

  • Conduct credit analysis, documentation and monitoring; maintain asset quality and minimize delinquencies/ NPLS.

  •  Ensure smooth adherence to SOPs; optimize turnaround times.

  •  Supervise staff, allocate tasks and ensure high level of productivity

  • Strong Leadership and Communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 10 years experience with 5 Years (for Managerial Level) of relevant and progressive work experience in financial institutions (shall be preferred working in Commercial and Development Banks).

  •  Strong knowledge of banking operations, Credit, risk management and regulatory framework

  • Candidates must have minimum Master Degree in Management/Banking/Finance/Business Administration from recognized university.

  • Age: not exceed 45 Years.

  •  Lead and manage Credit Administration department operations effectively

  •  Ensure compliance with NRB directives and internal policies

  •  Strengthen customer relationship and service quality

  • Ensure smooth daily operations, accurate transactions and adherence to SOPs, optimize turnaround times Strong Leadership and Communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  •  Minimum 8 years experience with 4 Years of Managerial level of relevant and progressive work experience in financial institutions (shall be preferred working in Commercial and Development Banks).

  •  Candidates must have minimum Master Degree in Management/Banking/Finance/Business Administration from recognized university.

  • Age: not exceed 45 Years.
