Job Description
QA Analyst (Automation-Focused)
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal (On-site)
Not just someone who “tests”…
But someone who owns quality and leads how it’s done.
We’re looking for a QA Analyst who goes beyond execution, someone who can set direction, build systems, and raise the overall standard of quality across the team and the product.
This role leans heavily on automation, but also on thinking, ownership, and leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (Selenium + TestNG)
- Define QA strategy, test plans, and scalable testing processes
- Identify what should be automated and drive that shift
- Lead regression testing through automation pipelines
- Perform focused manual testing for edge cases and real user behavior
- Conduct API testing using Postman
- Run performance testing using JMeter and analyze results
- Track and manage bugs using Jira with clear documentation
- Work closely with developers to improve testability and code quality
- Guide and support QA team members
- Bring structure, clarity, and accountability to QA processes
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in QA with a strong automation focus
- Solid hands-on experience with Selenium and TestNG
- Experience designing or structuring automation frameworks
- Experience with API testing (Postman)
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter)
- Comfortable working with Jira or similar tools
- Strong understanding of web & mobile application behavior
- Ability to take ownership and guide others
What Matters More Than Tools
- You think in systems, not just test cases
- You don’t wait for instructions; you define what needs to be tested
- You look for patterns and automate them
- You ask, “Why does this break?” and push for better solutions
- You care about how things actually work for users
We’re building a product for real-world use, so quality isn't a phase; it’s part of how we build.
