Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and manage all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, and other outlets. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of service quality, food safety, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency while achieving revenue and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will lead and develop the F&B team, control costs and inventory, coordinate events and functions, and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations in line with four-star hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquet, room service, and other F&B outlets.
  • Develop and implement effective F&B strategies, SOPs, and service standards in line with four-star hotel requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the F&B team to ensure high standards of service quality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
  • Plan and monitor F&B budgets, revenue targets, food cost, beverage cost, and operating expenses.
  • Ensure effective menu planning, pricing, portion control, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency across all outlets.
  • Coordinate with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and other departments for smooth hotel operations.
  • Manage banquets, conferences, events, and special functions, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of F&B outlets to maintain service, hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor staff scheduling, manpower requirements, training, performance, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, occupational safety, and hotel policies.
  • Analyze F&B sales and operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure proper procurement and quality standards.
  • Stay updated with hospitality trends, guest preferences, and F&B innovations to enhance the hotel's offerings.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant F&B experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial position in a 4-5 star hotel or reputed hospitality organization.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, banquet management, cost control, inventory, and revenue management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant hotel/F&B management systems.
