Role Description The Reservations Officer is a full-time role based in Kathmandu. This role manages reservations for glamping stays, including responding to inquiries, confirming bookings, updating reservation systems, and coordinating with on-site operations. The Reservations Officer communicates with guests via phone, email, and online platforms to provide information on availability, packages, and policies, ensuring a smooth booking experience. The role also involves upselling services, maintaining accurate guest records, and collaborating with the front office and operations teams to support seamless check-in and guest satisfaction. The Reservations Officer may assist with handling payment details, resolving booking issues, and supporting overall guest communication before arrival.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Reservations and Airline Ticketing skills, with the ability to manage booking systems accurately.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to handle guest inquiries and provide clear, courteous support.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, with the ability to promote packages, upgrades, and additional services.
- Candidates should have attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work with reservation and CRM software.
- Candidates should have prior experience in hospitality, travel, or tourism; experience in camp or resort environments is an advantage.
- Candidates should be able to manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- A relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is beneficial; proficiency in English and local languages is preferred.
