Job Description

The Sales Research Analyst is responsible for identifying and qualifying real workforce opportunities before the sales team spends time pursuing them.

This is not a general lead-generation or database-building role. The Analyst must identify companies where there is a credible reason for Hexa to employ, transfer, mobilise or manage a meaningful workforce population.

The role requires strong research ability, commercial curiosity and the ability to turn fragmented market information into actionable sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Hexa’s target workforce opportunity areas, including:
  • failed or failing workforce providers
  • internal HR burden
  • vendor consolidation
  • project mobilisation
  • GBS/shared-services expansion
  • manufacturing or production ramps
  • corporate transitions
  • Research project awards, tenders, hiring spikes, expansions, restructurings, M&A and other relevant market events.
  • Investigate potential workforce size and likely role mix.
  • Determine whether there is a credible reason for the company to use an external workforce provider.
  • Assess timing, likely commercial value and potential attractiveness to Hexa.
  • Identify relevant decision-makers across HR, Procurement, Finance, Operations and business leadership.
  • Map potential access routes into target organisations.
  • Produce short, structured opportunity briefs for the Business Development Executive.
  • Maintain accurate research and opportunity information in Hexa’s CRM.
  • Track which sources and workforce signals consistently generate commercially useful opportunities.
  • Work closely with the BD team to continuously improve qualification criteria.

Requirement:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in market research, sales intelligence, recruitment research, executive search, staffing, commercial analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong online research and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable investigating unfamiliar industries and companies.
  • Able to distinguish a real commercial trigger from generic company information.
  • Strong written English.
  • Structured and detail-oriented.
  • Commercially curious rather than purely academic.
  • Comfortable working independently and being measured on useful output rather than activity volume.
