The hospital continues to expand with the support of patients and staff, focusing on excellence and patient-centered care.Role Description The Operations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities across the hospital. This role includes supervising front-office and support staff, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies, safety procedures, and service standards. The Operations Supervisor will monitor appointment schedules, resource allocation, and facility maintenance to maintain smooth and efficient operations. The role also involves tracking operational performance, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient experience. Additionally, the Operations Supervisor will handle communication with internal stakeholders, support basic reporting, and assist in implementing operational initiatives set by hospital leadership.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead, coach, and support staff in a clinical or service-oriented environment.
- Candidates should possess Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee workflows, coordinate resources, and maintain efficient day-to-day hospital operations.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify issues, and recommend practical process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with patients, staff, and management, and to handle queries or concerns professionally.
- Relevant experience in healthcare or hospital operations, preferably in a supervisory role, is beneficial.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with basic office software and hospital information systems, along with strong organizational and time-management abilities, is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Kathmandu, maintain professionalism under pressure, and uphold patient-centered service standards is required.
