Job Description
About Us:
Sterling Wells Nepal is a sister concern of a UK-based group of fintech companies, chartered certified accountants, and chartered tax advisers, comprising UK Property Accountants, Sterling Wells, RentalBux, FigsFlow, and PropertySPV. The group represents multiple offices in the UK, Nepal, and India. We serve clients from more than 57 countries, with total assets under our accounting of over USD 8 billion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documentation
- Support preparation of financial reports, vouchers, and reconciliations
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Help prepare bank reconciliation statements and expense reports
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns and other statutory compliance requirements
- Support tax-related documentation and regulatory compliance tasks
- Assist during internal and external audits as required
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance or Freshers are also highly encouraged
- Basic knowledge of NFRS, accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
