Job Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely transactions and reconciliations, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and payment records.
Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, statements, and supporting documents.
Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
Support VAT, TDS, tax documentation, and other statutory requirements.
Verify invoices, bills, expenses, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Enter and update financial data accurately in accounting software/ERP systems.
Assist in budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-control activities.
Coordinate with other departments and units regarding financial and accounting matters.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documents and information.
Ensure compliance with organizational accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; Hospitality experience will be an advantage.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, TDS, and taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office, and accounting software/ERP systems.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
