Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ledgers, and financial transactions.
  • Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and other financial activities.
  • Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
  • Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain proper records of VAT, TDS, and other applicable tax-related transactions.
  • Assist with tax filing and ensure compliance with applicable financial and statutory requirements.
  • Manage petty cash and monitor day-to-day financial expenses.
  • Assist in payroll-related accounting and employee expense records when required.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and relevant internal departments.
  • Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions and report them to management.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Good knowledge of Nepalese accounting practices, VAT, TDS, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Swastik, or similar platforms.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
