Job Description

The Corporate Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities for an expanding real estate business under RV Group Nepal. This role is for a detail-oriented professional with 4+ years of accounting experience who will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and strong support for project-related financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and verify invoices, receipts, bank transactions, and journal entries in line with internal policies and real estate transaction needs
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and vendor/customer balances to ensure accounting accuracy
  • Prepare routine financial reports, including daily/weekly/monthly summaries and project-related expense tracking
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including audit preparation and documentation control
  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, and site/project teams to capture correct cost and billing details for real estate projects
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring by tracking collections, payments, and outstanding dues
  • Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable Nepali financial and tax practices
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies/commerce/accounting or a related field
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in construction, real estate or property-related operations
  • Accounting Software — proficient in using accounting software to process vouchers, ledgers, and financial reports (e.g., Fact, Tally, OMS or similar ERP/accounting tools)
  • Communication and teamwork skills — able to coordinate with internal departments and resolve transaction discrepancies accurately
  • Data Analysis and Reporting — capable of analyzing trial balances, variances, and transaction trends; prepare clear MIS and management reports
  • Team leadership & Collaboration — experience supporting and coordinating junior team members or cross-functional stakeholders for timely closures and reporting
  • Tax and compliance basics — working knowledge of Nepali tax/VAT documentation handling and basic compliance workflows
  • Strong reconciliation and documentation discipline — able to maintain audit-ready supporting documents for payments, receipts, and adjustments

  • Experience handling project-wise costing, advances, and billing schedules common in real estate
  • Exposure to audit support and internal control checklists for monthly and year-end processes
  • Familiarity with basic ERP workflows and integration between accounting and operations data
