Job Description
Role Description:
- Network & Infrastructure Operations: Drive end-to-end management of ISP network operations, ensuring optimal uptime, high availability, and exceptional service quality. Oversee core FTTH, fiber deployment, OLT, GPON, and ONU/ONT infrastructure.
- Team Leadership & NOC Management: Lead, mentor, and empower Network Operations Center (NOC) and field technical teams to achieve high productivity and operational excellence.
- Incident Management & SLAs: Monitor network health continuously, leading rapid fault isolation and outage restoration strictly within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Capacity Planning & Network Expansion: Architect and execute network growth strategies, infrastructure upgrades, and long-term capacity planning to support scaling user demand.
- Vendor & Project Coordination: Direct end-to-end technical project lifecycles while managing external vendors, equipment suppliers, and contractors.
- Security & Preventive Maintenance: Implement rigorous network security protocols, vulnerability management, and proactive preventive maintenance routines.
- Solutions Engineering & Product Innovation: Analyze telecom/ISP market requirements to design high-performance service solutions; collaborate cross-functionally on new product launches, technical whitepapers, and knowledge-base creation.
- Documentation & KPI Tracking: Maintain meticulous network topology diagrams, configuration archives, and technical records while tracking operational KPIs to continuously improve performance.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
1..Leadership & Core Experience :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in ISP and large-scale networking environments.
- Management: Proven project management capabilities and strong team leadership/handling skills.
2..Technical Expertise :
- Core Networking & Protocols: Deep understanding of IP packet flow, OSI layers, Ethernet, PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, and IPoE.
- Layer 3 & IP Services: Proficient in IPv4/IPv6 routing, ICMP, TCP, GRE, QoS, and VRRP.
- Routing Protocols: Advanced knowledge of dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- WAN & Enterprise Solutions: In-depth expertise in MPLS, VPLS, and Layer 2 / Layer 3 VPNs.
- Access & Infrastructure: Comprehensive understanding of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and ODN network architecture, along with hands-on OLT and ONT configuration.
- Multicast & CDNs: Experience with multicast routing and CDN network integrations (Google Global Cache, Meta, Akamai, Cloudflare, etc.).
- AAA & Security: Strong working knowledge of AAA architecture and protocols (RADIUS, Diameter).
- Systems & Automation: Hands-on experience with Linux and FreeBSD systems, paired with scripting skills in Python, Tcl, or Perl.
- Vendor Platforms: Operational experience with multi-vendor environments including Juniper (routers and firewalls), Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, MikroTik, and BDCOM.
3..Preferred Certifications
- Juniper: JNCIA / JNCIS / JNCIP
- Cisco: CCNA / CCNP (Or equivalent industry certifications)
