About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to design and build production-ready AI applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents and Python backend technologies.

Experience: 5+ years

Work Arrangement: Work From Office

Key Responsibilities:

Build and deploy production-ready LLM applications.
Develop RAG pipelines using embeddings, chunking, retrieval and reranking.
Implement dense, sparse and hybrid search.
Build AI agents connected to databases, APIs and business tools.
Develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI/Django.
Improve AI reliability through grounding, guardrails and evaluation.
Deploy and monitor AI applications on AWS.
Lead technical planning, code reviews, testing and documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For :

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong Python and FastAPI/Django expertise.
Hands-on experience building production RAG or AI-agent applications.
Strong understanding of embeddings, vector search and indexing.
Experience with Qdrant, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate or similar tools.
Experience with LangGraph, LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL and REST API development.
Experience with AWS, Git, Docker, testing and CI/CD.
Strong understanding of API security, scalability and performance.
Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to use AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor responsibly.

Experience with SQL agents, multimodal AI, image embeddings and production AI monitoring is an advantage.
