Role Description The Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. In this position, the team member will plan, edit, and assemble video content for marketing campaigns, educational materials, and social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging. Daily tasks include reviewing raw footage, selecting key clips, applying transitions, audio enhancements, and color corrections, as well as integrating motion graphics and text overlays. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the marketing and counseling teams to translate complex information about education and migration services into engaging visual stories. The role also involves maintaining organized project files, meeting deadlines, and optimizing videos for various digital platforms.
Qualifications

  • Strong video production skills, including planning, shooting, and organizing footage.
  • Proficiency in video editing and video color grading using industry-standard software.
  • Ability to create motion graphics and integrate graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Experience producing content for digital and social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and a strong sense of visual design.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Relevant training or a degree in film, multimedia, design, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in education, counseling, or service-oriented organizations is a plus.
