Job Description
Role Description The Video Editing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end video production process, including organizing raw footage, editing video content, and preparing materials for publication across digital platforms. Daily tasks include collaborating with instructors and subject-matter experts to understand content requirements, applying color grading, basic motion graphics, and graphics elements, and ensuring brand consistency and technical quality. The Video Editing Coordinator will manage project timelines, maintain an organized asset library, and support the creation of engaging educational and promotional video materials.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video editing and video production for educational or promotional content.
- Ability to perform video color grading and apply motion graphics to enhance viewer engagement.
- Experience creating and integrating graphics and visual elements that align with brand guidelines.
- Proficiency with industry-standard video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Good understanding of video formats, codecs, resolution standards, and basic audio editing.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with educators, designers, and other team members.
- Previous experience in video editing or media production; experience in educational or engineering-related content is an advantage.
- Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in media studies, film, communication, or a related field is preferred.
