Assistant Surveyor
Location: Project Sites, Nepal
Employment Type: Full-time
What You'll Do
- Assist the Survey Engineer/Head Surveyor in all site surveying works
- Carry out setting-out, alignment, level, coordinate and elevation checks
- Assist in topographic, road, drainage, building, foundation and utility surveys
- Operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS and other surveying instruments
- Maintain survey field books, coordinates, benchmarks and daily survey records
- Verify construction works against approved drawings and coordinates
- Support preparation of as-built survey data and drawings
- Coordinate with civil, electrical and construction teams at site
- Ensure proper care, calibration and safe handling of survey equipment
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related field
- Practical knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level and GPS/GNSS
- Willing and able to work at project sites under field conditions
- Fresh candidates with strong practical surveying skills are also welcome to apply
Technical Skills
- Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS operation
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred
- Accurate and responsible in field measurements
Preferred Experience
- Previous construction/site survey experience
- Background in solar, hydropower, or infrastructure projects
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work at different project locations
