Organization: Aujar Pvt. Ltd. (AujarMart) Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension Location: Kathmandu Valley (field work + work from home)
About Us
Aujar Pvt. Ltd. is a growing hardware and tools business based in Kathmandu, operating under the brand AujarMart. The company is focused on building a strong supplier network and an efficient procurement system to deliver competitively priced products across key categories such as hand tools and power tools. Aujar is in an early growth phase, prioritizing vendor relationships and supply chain development to support its expanding retail and digital presence.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Development Officer to build and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers across Kathmandu Valley, and to promote AujarMart.com through online and offline marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor and Supplier Relationship Development
- Visit and engage with hardware vendors, wholesalers, and suppliers across the city
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships on behalf of Aujar
- Collect and document:
- Product catalogs and rate sheets
- Minimum order quantities (MOQs)
- Bulk pricing tiers and discounts
- Credit terms, where available
- Negotiate pricing and terms to secure favorable deals
- Identify new supplier opportunities and alternatives
- Maintain organized records of all supplier interactions and data
- Provide regular updates and reports on progress, challenges, and opportunities
Marketing and Communications
- Manage AujarMart's social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
- Develop curated, strategic content for social media channels
- Design and execute marketing strategies to promote AujarMart.com
Client and Business Development
- Build a database of potential clients and focal persons
- Develop business development strategies and proposals to pitch AujarMart's outreach
Requirements
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with field visits and in-person meetings
- Basic understanding of the hardware/tools market (preferred, not mandatory)
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track data accurately
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Prior experience of content creation and social media marketing will be an advantage
- Preference will be given to those who have valid two-wheelers' license
- Must possess your own laptop/PC
Compensation
The successful candidate will be compensated NPR 20,000–30,000 per month, disbursed monthly upon submission of a satisfactory progress update. The final month's payment will be released upon submission and acceptance of all agreed deliverables.
