Role Description: The ATM Field Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dang & Kathmandu, responsible for maintaining and servicing ATMs and related self-service equipment at client locations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring ATMs remain operational and secure. The role involves responding to service calls, conducting preventive maintenance, coordinating with the technical support team, and documenting all work performed in service reports. The ATM Field Technician also supports installation and configuration of new ATM units, adheres to safety and compliance standards, and maintains professional communication with clients while working in the field.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong hardware maintenance and troubleshooting skills for ATM or similar electromechanical equipment.
- Candidates should possess basic networking, operating system, and software configuration skills relevant to digital and self-service solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in technical documentation, reporting, and clear written and verbal communication with clients and team members.
- Candidates should possess time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills to handle field visits and service calls efficiently.
- Relevant technical education (e.g., diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, computer engineering, or related field) is beneficial.
- Prior experience in ATM servicing, banking equipment maintenance, or field technical support is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, travel to client locations as needed, and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings when required, and to follow all safety and security protocols.
