Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to oversee all aspects of resort operations. The ideal candidate will lead departmental teams, drive business growth, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards of operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the resort, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, and Administration.
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor department heads and staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and control operational costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and hospitality regulations.
- Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing team to promote the resort and increase bookings.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, travel partners, corporate clients, and local authorities.
- Foster a positive work culture and ensure employee engagement, training, and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
- 5–8 years of experience in hotel or resort management, including leadership experience in a senior management role.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, budgeting, and revenue management.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
