Role DescriptionHotel Himalaya is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Health Club Executive to oversee the daily operations of the hotel's Health Club. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kupondole, Lalitpur.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the gym, swimming pool, and wellness facilities while delivering exceptional guest service. The role includes membership management, coordinating fitness and wellness activities, maintaining facility standards, supervising daily operations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Club, gym, and swimming pool.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members and hotel guests.
- Manage memberships, bookings, and facility schedules.
- Monitor cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of all health club facilities and equipment.
- Maintain accurate membership records, reports, and guest feedback.
- Promote Health Club memberships and wellness services through upselling and marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping to ensure facilities remain operational and well-maintained.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and health & safety standards.
- Assist in preparing operational reports and monitoring departmental performance.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sports Science, Physical Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a health club, fitness center, spa, or hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service and guest relationship management skills.
- Experience in membership administration and front desk operations.
- Good understanding of fitness, wellness, and recreational facility operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
