Role Description The Senior Server is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mustang District, responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service in a glamping and resort environment. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely, well-presented service. The Senior Server oversees table settings, maintains cleanliness and organization in dining areas, and ensures that service standards and safety protocols are consistently met. This role also involves mentoring junior serving staff, resolving guest concerns, supporting special events or group bookings, and promoting a warm, hospitable atmosphere that aligns with DOOLWA Camps & Resorts’ brand of mindful hospitality.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in food and beverage service, preferably in resorts, hotels, or upscale hospitality environments.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, guide junior staff, and coordinate service during busy periods.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling of food and beverages.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by guest needs.
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or service items safely.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to solving service issues and enhancing guest experiences.
- Prior experience in remote or resort locations and familiarity with the Mustang region is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in English and local languages; additional language skills are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality training or certifications are beneficial.
