Team members join a community-oriented organization that aims to enrich lives and strengthen connections through hospitality.Role Description The Food and Beverage Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage operations to ensure an excellent guest experience. This role includes managing food service in dining areas, coordinating with kitchen teams, and monitoring presentation and quality standards. The specialist interacts with guests, responds to inquiries and feedback, and supports a welcoming, professional environment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with menu recommendations, promoting signature items, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and supporting inventory checks as needed. The role requires close collaboration with restaurant management and team members to uphold Roadhouse’s hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage knowledge, with practical experience in restaurant or hotel environments.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills or a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation standards.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, or a related field; prior experience in a high-volume setting is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to perform on-site tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices; formal training or certification in hospitality or culinary arts is a plus.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with a commitment to inclusivity and respectful guest interactions.
