Summary
EKbana is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, ensuring high-quality delivery of our software products. You will collaborate cross-functionally with developers, project managers, and other QA professionals to deliver optimal solutions to our clients.
Description
- Design, develop, and execute thorough end-to-end test plans based on user requirements, use cases, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot, isolate, and document issues by preparing detailed problem reports.
- Maintain and enhance continuous test coverage, updating and improving system test cases as necessary.
- Prepare Release Notes for Sprint Releases with clear and precise documentation.
- Perform initial investigation of customer issue tickets by providing reproducible steps and actionable insights, while recommending product improvements to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate efficiently with project managers, developers, fellow QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
- Create and maintain QA artifacts including test cases, test execution reports, and other related documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BIT/BCA/BIM), or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in QA technologies and methodologies.
- Sound understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, Testing Methodologies, and QA Processes.
- Proficiency in writing, executing, and managing detailed test cases as well as reporting defects effectively.
- Hands-on experience performing API testing using Postman.
- Strong experience in Playwright Automation for end-to-end testing of web applications.
- Ability to prepare and maintain comprehensive QA documents and reports.
- Familiarity with JMeter and other QA tools is considered a plus.
- A systems-level mindset with the ability to understand the bigger picture and how various components interact within the product.
- Proven team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bonus: Experience working with AI-powered QA workflows and automation tools.
